Outerlands strives to take an environment based approach to building. We seek out environmentally friendly ways to build and ways to bring the natural environment into our designs. We seek out reclaimed wood from all over the world, from exotic hardwoods to local redwoods and everything in between. We source timber for our slab tables and desks from windfall trees blown over in storms. Our builders use reclaimed boards, planks and beams from old warehouses, farms and mills. The look that these types of products provide is classic and we feel good about building with them. We source green products whenever possible, including products packaged without foam and building materials produced in environmentally friendly ways that can be sustained through future generations.
